Here’s another NCI Talk “Eye on Health Care” video I produced. This one was created to be shown at the Elsevier February 2007 National Community Oncology Conference in DC. I hoped to wow this national audience of oncologists, so I wanted to find someone using very innovative, promising technology.
My friend Tom Barr, an oncology consultant, suggested Tom Marsland, MD, a nationally prominent oncologist living in my home town of Jacksonville FL. I made the appointment, we shot this interesting clip in an afternoon, and in the process I found a good friend in Dr. Marsland. Doug Webber, the superb and immensely talented Tampa-based videographer who shot and mastered this piece and most of the others in the NCI Talk portfolio, did the honors here.
This was a video where all the elements aligned to appropriately showcase this wonderful new technology.
